A little (lot) bit about myself
I am often asked what prompted me to become so passionately involved in health and thus end up being Chairman of Xtend-Life Natural Products (Intl) Ltd.
Well, that’s a rather long story.
I had an event occur in my life in 1998 just after I turned 51 years of age, and that changed my life’s direction. It was not a life threatening illness or anything like that…in fact, it was something quite different.
What happened?
If you really would like to know the story and background behind it I am happy to tell you if you want to take the time to read it. You can find the details here.
The bottom line of this event was that I decided that I would have to guarantee to myself that I would not only live a lot longer than normal but also that I would not suffer the ‘normal’ degenerative diseases that almost everyone gets at some time in their lives.
I wanted to die of Old Age…
In short I wanted to ensure that I died of old age…which is so rare that in the US it has been removed as a cause of death!
Now…9 years later at the age of 60, I realize that the somewhat tongue in cheek ‘guarantee’ that I made to myself in 1998 is not only achievable, but realistic. Back in 1998 I did not know just how realistic it was…but, in the years that have gone by since then I have learnt much to reinforce that belief.
This knowledge has come from a tremendous amount of research that I have done on the subject, combined with having the privilege of a close friendship with Dr. Abdul-Munem Mohammed Daoud Al-Shakarchi one of the world’s leading bio-scientists. If you would like to have a look at his credentials please click here.
What about my credentials?
The short answer is…if you are looking for letters after my name, you won’t find any. I left school at age 16, started my first business at 18 and have been self employed ever since…until 8 years ago when I founded the Xtend-Life group with my son Lance.
So what makes me think I can help people with their health issues?
- I have many years of real life experience.
- I have been able to use this experience to sift out fact and fiction in the health ‘industry’…and there is a lot of fiction.

- I have access to specialists when needed.
- I have been privy to many experiences of other people in my capacity as Chairman of the Xtend-Life group.
- My personal objectives are similar to that of millions of other men and women. They do not have time to research such as I do, nor do they have access to the resources that I now have. I aim to pass on what I know to anyone who can use it or cares to listen.
- I am not ‘conditioned’ to any specific preconceived notions about health. Many health ‘professionals’ parrot the ‘accepted’ views about health and the prevention of disease in spite of the fact that science has in many cases proved these notions to be incorrect…but they are continued to be promoted, often through financial influences or in some cases laziness or ignorance.
So, I will always tell it like it is without preconceived ideas in ground in my head through distorted teaching.
What about my Health?
I am now in better condition than I was when I was 40 years of age and much better than I was 8 years ago. I suffer from no ailments, I have energy to spare, I never get colds or viruses and my mind and memory are sharper than they have ever been. I think that it is fair to say that I am probably in better condition than most men in their 30’s.
But…talk is cheap. Here are a few statistics of mine.
- Human Growth Hormone, as measured by IGF-1. My levels are similar to that of a healthy 28 year old.
- Testosterone. Once again my levels are that of a healthy 28 year old male.
- PSA, which measures the health of the prostate. This is also that of the level of a much younger man.

What I find so exciting it that there is nothing exceptional about these results. It’s not that I am defying nature and not aging normally but rather that I am aging as nature intended. What distorts the average figures is that the overwhelming majority of people are aging at an accelerated rate.
It is not natural to live as most aged people do, which is to spend the last decade of their lives ‘supported’ by pharmaceutical drugs with a poor quality of life and yet still die at a relatively young age of around 80 or even younger.
I strongly believe that our bodies were designed to live an active life to 120 years, in good health with all our faculties.
Consider Jack Lalanne…91 and still going strong with many more quality years left in him. For more info about Jack click here
What is my objective with this Blog?
It’s very simple. I believe that I have found my real purpose in life, and that is to share with as many people as possible the ‘secrets’ (which should not be secrets) of what it takes to be healthy and happy and free from disease.
This purpose is not 100% ‘selfless’ because in going after this objective it broadens my knowledge, and forces me to learn more due to my interaction with other people. This in turn enables me to learn more which benefits not only my health but that of my loved ones, and all those to whom I can pass on this knowledge.
Oh, I know that some people will claim that I have a vested financial interest in directing people to use Xtend-Life’s products. I can’t deny that I do benefit from that, but without Xtend-Life there would be no blog and I would not be able to do the research that I do.
However, I only promote our products, when and if appropriate, and I have no qualms in doing so, because I know how I and thousands of others have benefited from them, and furthermore, I know that they contain everything we say they do and the quality and efficacy is unbeatable.
At the end of the day, you the reader will be the judge as to whether I act in an honorable way. You can always let me know if you think I don't.
In good health...
