An example of successful cholesterol balance using natural solutions only...
I have just received this comment from a reader of this blog. I thought that I would post it here as it is an inspiration of what can be acheived if the effort is made.

My doctor wanted to put me on statins after he reviewed my blood test results. I am 68, and normally eat a well-balance healthy diet relatively low in unhealthy fat. The doctor gave me some dietary restrictions to improve my situation.
After 3 months on the more restrictive diet, my blood test cholesterol levels were even worse than the previous test results. My doctor told me it was time to take statin medication, and he was upset that wanted another chance, several months more, to improve my blood test results. Despite my 68 years I do a lot of competitive sports, especially triathlons and foot races.
I was afraid that the negative side effects of statins would end my competitive career since I have heard so many horror stories from friends that have taken statins. I did researched, in the internet, for methods that could safely reduce my bad cholesterol numbers without negative side effects.
I started to take 2 large spoonfuls of ground flaxseed on my cereal, one cholesterol lowering yogurt with vegetable stanols added to it (2 grams), and 3 Omega fish oil capsules a day. In 3 1/2 months I significantly lowered my cholesterol number as follows:
Lowered my LDL (bad cholesterol) from 163 to 128
Increased my HDL (good cholesterol) from 54 to 86
Lowered my triglycerides from 75 to 56
This was all done before being aware of your company or products. However, I had one serious side effects from taking the fish oil products. I had serious bad gas problems. Then I discovered your company.
I was impressed with your emphasis on freshness and your claim of 2 1/2 times more anti inflammatory levels. I ordered 4 bottles of your Omega 3 fish oil. As soon as I started taking your product, the severe gas problem went away completely. I attribute this to the freshness and purity of you products.

Anyone who says they are not stressed is not strictly telling the truth: we have stress hormones circulating in our bloodstream in different amounts as long as we have a pulse! The fact is that our hormones have not evolved from caveman times when ‘Fight or Flight’ meant a choice - are we going to run from the Sabre Toothed Tiger or fight it? Today, however, if we are stuck in a traffic jam and about to miss that urgent appointment, our stress hormones are rushing around and it’s a bit like slipping our body’s clutch with our foot on the accelerator. Our adrenals pump out cortisol which galvanises the body during stress. The heart speeds up, blood pressure rises and our demand for energy means we switch from eating proteins towards sugars to fuel the muscles. Under normal circumstances, after the stressful event has passed, another hormone called DHEA acts like a handbrake to reduce the cortisol levels and the adrenals go into a resting phase.
So what happens if the stress is ongoing? Firstly, the physiological effects of sustained stress can cause cravings for sugar which wildly affects our blood sugar levels and takes us on a roller coaster ride. We may find ourselves waking at 3 am, just as if a boiler timer had gone off, because of the adrenals shifting out of their 24-hour rhythm and starting the anabolic cycle too soon. We don’t reach the restorative REM (rapid eye movement) state even when we are asleep, so we feel TATT (tired all the time). Our immune function becomes impaired and, in addition to potential depression, we are liable to get allergies of all kinds and osteoporosis. Wow! we should have a national flag day for the adrenals to draw attention to the physiological effects of stress.

Is there any time frame to clear the body of any residual statin?

I am not to sure about the answer to this. It would be dependent upon the length of time that you have been taking it and also the dose. If you have not experienced any side effects then it is unlikely there has been any long term harm and it will over time 'wash' out of your body.
Be aware though that you are likely to experience a spike in your cholesterol levels if you have gone 'cold turkey'. If your cholesterol levels are high and so are your triglycerides then it is usually best to come off it gradually over a 2 - 3 month period.
If however you have only been on the statin for a short time and at a low dose you may not experience a spike...which is not a problem so long as your triglycerides are OK.
Last week I had my physical and the doctor told me I need to start with the Simvastatin drug. I am 41 years old and 187 pounds. I just started this month with TB Men’s Premium, Omega-3 and Neuro-Natural Serenity (because I had anxiety from time to time). I stopped smoking as soon I started with your products and I really feel great. There is no chance for me to start with Statin before I try Cholest-Natural and Cardio-Klenz. Here are my numbers from the test:
Cholesterol: 238 mg/dl
Triglycerides: 56 mg/dl
HDL: 67 mg/dl
LDL: 160 mg/dl
Ratio ldl/hdl 2.39
My blood pressure is 120/80.
Can you please give me advice? Should I start with Cholest-Natural and Cardio-Klenz, and if yes how many tablets per day and for how long? Right now my tablet taking schedule is:
Morning: 4 TB, 1 Omega3, 1 Neuro-Serenity
Afternoon: 3 TB, 1 Omega3, 1 Neuro-Serenity
Evening: 1 Neuro-Serenity

These recommendations favourably modify cholesterol levels by reducing the amount of cholesterol

With those results you don't even need our Cholest-Natural let alone a statin drug. I think that your Doctor is not thinking straight. With high HDL and low triglycerides and excellent blood pressure I just cannot figure what your Doctor was thinking (or rather not thinking) when he prescribed a statin???
The problem is that he is just blindly following the guidelines of the Cholesterol Council of America who think that everyone who has total cholesterol of 200 or more should automatically be on a statin, irrespective of their other factors.
Nine of the eleven members of that 'council' have financial links to the statin manufacturers.
I would stick with the supplement regime that you are on.

I just ordered my second set of TB Men's premium and i am very satisfied with the results. I have some questions regarding my condition. I have metabolic sydrome .low hdl(27) ldl (140) and total cholestrol (180) and i am on Janumet too. Since i am taking TB Men's Premium now (i haven't did a blood work since i am on this) would you recommend me to try any other product in addition to the TB to improve my health? I am also overweight but i exercise every day and eat vegetarian food, Please advise.

The only suggestion that I would make is to add our Omega 3 DHA Fish oil. That is very important.
Also, unless you are a committed vegetarian I would also add some fish, chicken and meat into your diet as you may not be getting enough protein.
Thanks for your response!. I am 42 years old.I am a vegetarian(no fish, no chicken, no eggs, dairy ok). But i understand the importance of the fish oil. So i have a high quality whey protein (made from rbgh cows) and Milk (these are the protein sources), but i feel i should improve my lipids profile (triglyserides(237), hdl(27) and ldl(140) and total cholestrol (180) and also my blood pressure (high normal range) with morning diastolic in the 90's and reduces as the day progresses. Please advise so that i can take the new supplements with the TB Men's premium that i taking now. Looking forward to your comments.

Hmmm...I don't like getting protein from milk sources. Your cholesterol is to low and your triglycerides are to high.
The best way to reduce your triglycerides is with high doses of Omega 3 fish oil. I would go with 4 soft gels a day if I were you. If you are not prepared to use fish oil because you are vegetarian then the only other option is to avoid all bakery goods, all processed foods and anything with sugar in it.
Unless you have a really committed reason for not eating eggs I would suggest that you start eating at least one free range one a day. Don't be put off by people who say eggs are bad for you, they are not. Quite the opposite.
With regard to your blood pressure I am confident that over time Total Balance will help. In the meantime it would probably be a good idea to add Cardio-Klenz into your daily regime for say 6 months. That will help your entire cardiovascular system and very likely your blood pressure as well.
By the way when you take your supplements (exception being fish oil) try to leave a gap of 2 - 3 hours from your medication.
When i activated my next order for TM Premium, i also included fish oil and got confirmation from Chantal Wright. Thanks for that advise & Guidance. But here is my problem and it would be great if you could guide me as to where i would fit in all the tablets (including medications + the Cardio- Klenz), if you prefer me calling you, please let me know). Here is the typical routine
1. 9am Breakfast (TB - 4 tablets)
2. 1 pm- lunch (janumet) [note i need to take Janumet(after lunch and dinner) for type2 my AIC is 6.0 and i have been having Janumet for 6 months) [i hope some day i get rid of this medication] [fish oil softgels 2 after lunch - hope this would not interfere with Janumet]
3. 4 pm (soup/snack) {TB- 3 tablets}
4. 8 pm (dinner) {Janumet}
Please let me know where i could fit in the Cardio-Klenz. I also take Aged Garlic supplements and cherry fruit extract(for Uric acid issue). I need some help here as suddenly it looks like i am having around 20 tablets per day (just the feeling), Please advise. If it is better to call you, please let me know.

I would suggest that you take the Cardio-Klenz either an hour before or an hour after Total Balance. That way it will still be seperated from your medication and far enough apart from the TB not to interfere with any of those ingredients either.
If you start on the statin your health will start to deteriorate. There is NO upside in taking the statin and your risks of dying from other diseases such as cancer will go up.
This is well proven but not very well known. I will be doing a very detailed report on this over the next couple of months. If you have any reservations about what I am saying please get hold of a copy of the book The Great Cholesterol Con by Dr Malcolm Kendricks. It you do read it you will be as mad as hell that the Doctor even suggested a statin for you.
My husband immediately stopped the statins and we have ordered Cholest Natural in hopes that his numbers will improve and his liver and kidneys begin to heal. Is it possible? Are there any adverse reactions to Cholest Natural?
